Frozen Storage | How to store peaches

I think the best way to eat peaches is to enjoy their juiciness and sweetness when they are raw.
However, peaches can be stored at room temperature for only 3 to 4 days, so if you can’t eat them all, it’s convenient to freeze the whole peaches.
Frozen peaches are easy to peel, and they are delicious when partially thawed and used for smoothies.

How to Freeze Peaches
  • Gently wash the peaches and wipe off the moisture with paper towel.
  • Wrap each peach in plastic wrap and place in a freezer bag to remove air.
  • Can be stored in freezer for about 1 month.

How to Defrost Peaches
  • Make shallow cuts in the frozen peach skin with a knife.
  • Soak the peach in water and peel the skin from the cuts. The skin can be easily peeled off by hand.
  • Defrost the peach at room temperature for about 15 minutes. When partially thawed, cut into bite-sized pieces.
NOTES
  • If the peaches are completely thawed, the umami will flow out, so it is recommended to eat them partially thawed.
  • It’s also delicious in smoothies.
PRESERVATION

・Peaches can be stored in freezer for about 1 month.
