Crispy Japanese Snack | How to make Rice Crackers

My mother-in-law made me rice crackers with mochi. Fried white rice crackers were delicious, so I tried making it at home.
I made it in the oven without frying, and it was crispy and delicious. You must try it!

  • 1 mochi (rice cake)
  • a pinch of salt

  • Cut the mochi into 5-7 mm squares, and arrange them on a parchment-lined baking sheet with some space between them.

  • Bake the mochi in an oven preheated to 170℃ (335℉) for about 20 minutes until crispy.
  • While the rice crackers are hot, sprinkle with salt.
