Nostalgic Summer Drink | How to make Japanese Cream Soda

When I was little, I loved cream soda and looked forward to eating it with Neapolitan pasta at a restaurant with a red triangle roof on the way to my grandparents’ house.
This time, I made berry-flavored cream soda with homemade, additive-free syrup. Cream soda after a long time was nostalgic, and it was still delicious.

INGREDIENTS for Cream Soda : 1 serving

  • 2 tbsp berry syrup
    * Store-bought fruit syrup can also be used
  • 130ml carbonated water
  • 60ml vanilla ice cream
  • Ice

INSTRUCTIONS for Cream Soda

STEP
Make Japanese Cream Soda
  • Fill the glass with ice and add 1 tablespoon of berry syrup (only syrup).
  • Pour well-chilled carbonated water (no sugar) into the glass.
  • Place vanilla ice cream on top of ice and pour 1 tablespoon of berry syrup (syrup and fruit) over the ice.
NOTES
  • Fill the glass with ice and place vanilla ice cream on top of the ice to prevent the ice from sinking.
