I got some bay leaf branches, so I made homemade dried bay leaves. I was able to easily make it at home while enjoying the original bay leaf scent.
The leaves are not very fragrant before they are dried, but when they are boiled in hot water or dried, they give off a sweet, spicy scent.
Dried bay leaf is useful for stewed dishes such as curry and soup, and marinades such as pickles.
You can also break the leaves into small pieces, and place them on your bedside or desk for a pleasant scent.
