Profile

I was born in Fukushima prefecture, and grew up in an environment where there was a rice field in front of my house and an apple field spread out behind it.

After the age of fifty, I started thinking about the rest of my life. Looking back, I am just so grateful to my family, the people around me, and my hometown.

I decided to introduce the delicious local cuisine of Fukushima and the taste of home that have been handed down for a long time, hoping that it will lead to return the favor.

The recipes are based on the dishes learned from my grandmother and mother and my memories of the taste, and I try to deliver delicious dishes in an easy-to-understand manner.

I would be very happy if you could discover the charms of Fukushima and the local cuisine.
